Corin, the Cirencester, UK-based reconstructive orthopaedics company, has secured a long-term distribution deal for all of its orthopaedic devices in Japan. Under the co-marketing agreement, Corin's Japanese subsidiary will continue to sell its products alongside Osaka-based Kobayashi Pharmaceutical, which makes and distributes both pharmaceutical products and medical devices and equipment. Akira Horiguchi, senior executive vice-president of Kobayashi said he hoped the company's relationship with Corin would be further strengthened "by the development of additional unique products to meet the demands of the Japanese market". Japan is the second largest orthhopaedics market after the US.
