Executive Summary

A novel technology platform for tuberculosis could provide an affordable, accurate and rapid point-of-care (POC) diagnostic for the disease. So found a UK team that believes that the technology, which identifies a combination of proteins in the blood, could lead to a "huge effect on clinical outcomes" of the disease. The findings appear in the September 14 issue of the Lancet.
