Immucor has received US FDA 510(k) market clearance to run its assays for syphilis (Capture-S) and cytomegalovirus (CMV) on its Galileo analyser, a fully-automated, walk-away instrument for use in hospital blood bank transfusion laboratories, donor centres and reference laboratories.
