Executive Summary

The UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) launched on April 3 a new Assistive Technology (AT) centre, replacing the existing MHRA Wheeled and Mobility Seating Centre, in Blackpool, Lancashire. The new centre is a response to the challenges of the increased use of assistive technology, as well as the challenges that are presented with the development of new concepts, designs and products.
