St Paul, Minnesota-based Synovis Life Technologies has gained exclusive US distribution rights to microsurgical instruments manufactured by S&T of Neuhausen, Switzerland. Synovis Micro Companies Alliance (MCA), Synovis' subsidiary focused on the microsurgery market, will begin selling the new line of products immediately. Among S&T's products is a vessel dilator that microsurgeons could use in conjunction with Coupler, Synovis' lead product designed to connect small veins or arteries. The dilator's tips are used to spread out the inside of the vessel and are extremely gentle to small vessels.
