Executive Summary
VNUS Medical Technologies' long-standing patent feud with three of its endovenous ablation competitors is to be tried by jury, after the court denied summary judgement motions filed by both sides. The trial - which will see Diomed, Vascular Solutions and AngioDynamics defend themselves against VNUS' accusations of patent infringements - has been scheduled for October 29. It is expected to last around three weeks before jury deliberation.
