Inverness Medical Innovations has completed the acquisition of San Diego, California-based diagnostics company Biosite (see Clinica No 1258, p 13). The deal, which went through on June 29 at a price of $92.50 per share, saw Biosite cease trading and delisted from the Nasdaq the previous day.
