The round, led by Siemens Venture Capital, enables U-Systems to expand sales and marketing of its FDA-cleared and CE-marked SomoVu automated breast ultrasound system, and continue investing in product development. Existing investors Sycamore Venture Capital, MDS Capital, Radius Ventures, Kinetic Capital and United Investments contributed to the round, as did new shareholders President International Development Corporation, iD Innovation, China Investment & Development Company and TSC Bioventures.
