Hong Kong firm OrbusNeich has CE marked its Sapphire 1.25mm percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) dilatation catheter for sale in Europe. The small-diameter balloon catheter is designed for pre-dilatation of tight, calcified chronic total occlusion (CTO) lesions. It provides what OrbusNeich calls "enhanced pushability and superior kink resistance". The Sapphire 1.25mm is available in 5mm, 8mm, 10mm and 15mm lengths.
