Executive Summary
The cardiovascular magnetic resonance working group (EuroCMR) of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) has begun to pilot an online forum on the science, technology and practice in this field. The blog-style forum (http://forum.escardio.org/forums) is divided into seven areas, including: diagnosis, equipment and research. EuroCMR, which is chaired by Dr Juerg Schwitter (University Hospital Zurich, Switzerland), aims to be the leading representative transnational scientific organisation for physicians, scientists and technologists in this specialism. The aim of the project is to "promote direct scientific exchange" between these. The pilot will run until August 2008.
