British radiology experts warn of ageing equipment burden

A "bulge" of diagnostic imaging equipment will soon need replacing, the British Institute of Radiology (BIR) has said, in warning about the forthcoming "challenges of capital equipment replacement" in the NHS. These challenges are the subject of a scientific meeting to be hosted by the BIR in London, on April 20 2010.
