TranS1 appoints Ken Reali president and COO

TranS1, a company specialising in minimally-invasive technologies for treating spinal disorders, has appointed Ken Reali president and chief operating officer. He joins from Smith & Nephew where his most recent role was senior vice-president and general manager of the firm's biologics and spine business. Prior to this, Mr Reali has worked for other major orthopaedics players, Stryker and Biomet.
