Schlewitz to lead Biotronik US sales

Cardiovascular devices manufacturer Biotronik has appointed Dan Schlewitz to the post of executive vice-president of sales for its US subsidiary. Mr Schlewitz, whose 25-year career in the cardiac rhythm management (CRM) field includes a senior sales position at Medtronic's CRM division, will be charged with accelerating Biotronik's growth in this sector. Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, Biotronik sells CRM and vascular intervention products worldwide. Its US subsidiary is based in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
