Aesthetic surgery specialist Sound Surgical Technologies (SST) has added a range of fat transfer products to its portfolio, after sealing a distribution deal with Centennial, Colorado-based medical devices manufacturer Shippert Medical Technologies. The Tissu-Trans fat transfer line includes cannulas, syringes, tubings and fat reinjection guns. These products will be sold alongside SST's flagship Vaser Lipo system, which is designed to selectively break apart unwanted fat using ultrasonic energy, while sparing the surrounding tissue structures. The addition of Shippert's products, said Louisville, Colorado-based SST, will enable it to become a "one-stop shop" for advanced body sculpting devices and supplies. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
