UK HCV awareness survey backs DH campaign for testing

The UK's Department of Health has renewed calls for persons at risk of contracting the hepatitis C virus (HCV) to undergo testing. A public awareness campaign is being launched on the back of the results of a survey, published today, which found that some 100,000 people in England alone are unaware of their infection.
