The medical technology industry received a pep talk on the future of its sector at the Medtec UK 2009 conference in Birmingham, writes Peter Rixon. Tony Davis, CEO of MedilinkWM, which builds business networks for healthcare companies in the West Midlands, reassured companies at the conference on March 25 that “the sector tends to do well when the economy is struggling”.
