Executive Summary
While myopia is well served by laser vision correction techniques, using lasers to reshape the cornea is more technically challenging for hyperopia. For the 32 million hyperopic patients in the US, Anamed Inc. hopes to provide a new vision correction that is reversible, or "additive, not subtractive." Anamed's first product for vision correction is {PermaVision}, intracorneal lenses made of a proprietary biomaterial, for the treatment of myopia, presbyopia, astigmatism and hyperopia.
