Firm announces FDA 510(k) clearance and launch of its PoleStar N30 surgical MRI system for neurosurgical tumor resection procedures. The magnetic resonance imaging tool provides real-time imaging in the OR to help surgeons better target tumors "despite the anatomy movement that may occur during a surgical procedure," so they can avoid damaging critical areas of the brain, Medtronic said April 26.
