I-Flow partners with GE Healthcare

Anesthesiology infusion pump supplier I-Flow and global ultrasound manufacturer GE Healthcare announce a strategic alliance to explore growth opportunities in the anesthesiology market. The two firms will work together on a multi-center, prospective, randomized clinical study on the use of ultrasound for the placement of continuous peripheral nerve blocks. Specifically, GE and I-Flow will study the effectiveness of using GE's compact ultrasound products for making nerves easier to find when using I-Flow's ON-Q C-bloc system.
