The U.S. Healthcare Technologies Competitiveness Act (HR 5115), introduced by Rep. Melissa Hart (R-Penn.) on April 6 to foster medical technology innovation, includes a permanent R&D tax credit, a 40% medical innovation tax credit for certain clinical trial research expenses, and a net operating loss credit.
