Executive Summary

U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has ordered the temporary consolidation of multiple class action suits arising from the firm's voluntary field action in February on a defect affecting some of its Marquis implantable cardioverter-defibrillator and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices to aid pretrial proceedings in the U.S. District Court for Minnesota (1"The Gray Sheet" Feb. 21, 2005, p. 24).
