Laurence Fairey steps down as president and CEO, according to an Oct. 6 statement. The announcement comes two days after the orthopedic device company released preliminary Q3 results of $73.4 mil. -approximately $4 mil. below the low end of the company's prior guidance. Executive Chairman Barry Bays, president and CEO from January 2000 to July 2004, will again serve these roles until a permanent replacement is found.
