CRYSTAL CARE'S HEARING AID NOISE REDUCTION CLAIMS IN INFOMERCIAL violate FDA's premarket requirements, the agency says in a Dec. 30 letter to the Lutz, Florida-based company. Citing Crystal Care International, Inc. for making unapproved claims for its Crystal Ear 100 hearing aid, FDA says the device "has not been cleared for the claim of eliminating background noise or to improve hearing in noisy environments."
