Executive Summary
FDA seeks reference information for peer-reviewed journal articles that discuss the health impact of dental amalgam and were published from Jan. 1, 1996 to June 1, 2003. Submissions to FDA are due by June 2. The 1May 9 request is part of FDA's preparation for the latest in a series of literature reviews on the topic that will start later this year. Sponsored by FDA, CDC and the National Institute of Dental & Craniofacial Research, the review will be conducted by an independent group.
