Mountain View, California firm's endovascular coil was used in the International Subarachnoid Aneurysm Trial (ISAT), the firm reports. About 43 medical centers in North America, Australia and Europe participated in the study, published in the Oct. 25 issue of the Lancet (1"The Gray Sheet" Oct. 28, 2002, p. 18). Hospitals purchased the devices from Micrus and Boston Scientific (GDC); neither firm provided funding for the study.
