Rep. Henry Waxman's (D-Calif.) Counsel Paul Kim is named deputy staff director in Senator Edward Kennedy's (D-Mass.) HELP committee. Kim will focus on FDA, NIH, and medical error issues, while co-deputy director Sarah Bianchi will focus on coverage. As health policy aide to Waxman, Kim worked on the Ryan White CARE Act and FDA Modernization Act
