Los Angeles district director in agency's Pacific Division is leaving FDA to become a VP at Quintiles Consulting, effective June 1. Messa has led the L.A. district for the past six years and has chaired the Center for Devices and Radiological Health's field committee since 1995. She will report to Quintiles Executive VP Ron Johnson, who likewise left FDA's Pacific Division in 1997.
