Executive Summary
Clinical diagnostics manufacturer agrees to purchase the assets of Dade Behring's line of lyophilized (freeze-dried) controls under an agreement in principle announced June 9. Under terms of the deal, which is expected to be complete in four to six weeks, MAS gains a quality control data management system, intellectual property rights to the products, manufacturing equipment, Dade's existing customer base and 26-27 of the firm's employees.
