EP MedSystems: Cardiac electrophysiology firm engages investment banker "to assist in the process of evaluating financing and strategic alternatives available to the company," the firm states. Mount Arlington, New Jersey-based EP MedSystems' product line includes electrophysiology devices used to diagnose, monitor and treat certain cardiac disorders. The firm "may require additional sources of capital to achieve its long-term objectives" and is considering "alternatives" to meet its next phase of growth financing, "including an equity or debt investment by or business combination with a financial investor, strategic investor or marketing partner," EP states. "Other alternatives are also being considered as part of this process"...
