AHP DIVESTITURE OF SHERWOOD-DAVIS & GECK TO TYCO FOR $1.77 BIL. in cash would leave monitoring equipment firm Quinton Instruments as American Home Products' only remaining medical device operation as it continues its retreat from the device business. A definitive agreement to sell Sherwood-Davis & Geck to Tyco International Ltd. was announced Dec. 22.
