GRAHAM-FIELD WOULD ADD HOME/LONG-TERM CARE BED MANUFACTURING WITH FUQUA BUY, for which an agreement was announced Sept. 8. A strategic feature of the planned purchase of durable medical equipment/patient room furnishings manufacturer Fuqua Enterprises by DME manufacturer/distributor Graham-Field Health Products is the addition of manufacturing capacities for home and long-term care beds through Fuqua's Basic American Medical Products business. Graham-Field currently sells the Smith & Davis line of home care beds, but they are manufactured under contract.
