General Surgical Innovations/Ethicon: Enter five-year OEM supply agreement Dec. 30 whereby GSI grants the Johnson & Johnson subsidiary exclusive worldwide sales and marketing rights to its Spacemaker balloon dissection systems in the laparoscopic hernia repair and urinary stress incontinence markets. After a marketing ramp-up period expires on June 30, 1997, the agreement calls for Ethicon to meet minimum quarterly product purchase quotas.
