BEHRING DIAGNOSTICS LAUNCHES BCT COAGULATION TIMER at a list price of $85,000 following 510(k) clearance of the automated system in May. The product, formally introduced July 29 at the annual meeting of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry in Chicago, provides upgraded software and added reagent capabilities over the firm's first-generation BFA coagulation timer, which was launched in the U.S. early in 1994 at a list price of $52,000.
