Aesculap supply deals: Surgical instrument manufacturer secures three-year contract with Amerinet effective June 1 for "all of Aesculap's products," expanding on an existing supply agreement for sterilization containers. Aesculap says it replaces Johnson & Johnson unit Codman & Shurtleff as Amerinet's vendor, adding that the deal "represents a major step...in terms of expanding its U.S. market share in surgical instruments." An Aesculap supply agreement with Purchase Connection takes effect July 1. The firm says it beat out Baxter and Pilling Weck for the contract, a dual award with Codman & Shurtleff, through "aggressive pricing" and the "overall quality of its product line"...
