LUMISYS' LUMISCAN 20 TABLETOP LASER-BASED FILM DIGITIZER is slated for introduction at the November meeting of the Radiological Society of North America in Chicago, the company reports in a prospectus for its initial public offering. The Lumiscan 20 charge-coupled device (CCD)-based digitizer, designed for use in less demanding applications and environments than the firm's six other Lumiscan models, received 510(k) clearance in September.
