Executive Summary
Cordis v. Target: Cordis Endovascular Systems files suit Oct. 4 in U.S. District Court in San Jose, California, alleging that Target Therapeutics infringes Cordis patents for microcatheters, guidewires and guiding catheters used to diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, liver and other internal organs. In November 1994, Target filed a patent infringement suit against Cordis and Scimed regarding the same technologies ("The Gray Sheet" Nov. 14, In Brief).
