Executive Summary
LEGISLATION TO FOSTER USE OF HOME CARE SERVICES will be pursued in the coming session of Congress by the Home Care Coalition, according to HCC members. The coalition -- whose members include the Health Industry Manufacturers Association, the Health Industry Distributors Association, the National Association for Medical Equipment Services, and a number of patient and physician groups -- held a planning session Nov. 1 to lay the groundwork on issues to be addressed in the bill. HCC plans to hold another meeting on the legislation proposal on Dec. 7.
