MEDTRONIC'S $128 MIL. ACQUISITION OF CANNULA FIRM DLP will boost the company's cardiac surgery business sales well over the $200 mil. mark. Medtronic's cardiac surgery business, which is currently estimated to generate approximately $140 mil. in annual sales, will add about $36 mil. in annual revenues from the March 17 purchase of DLP and another $40 mil. from the pending acquisition of Electromedics ("The Gray Sheet" Jan. 3, In Brief).
