Agency task force forwards recommendations on improving product recall procedures to Ronald Chesemore, associate commissioner for regulatory affairs. The office of regulatory affairs had initiated the task force review of FDA recall programs in mid-1992 due, in part, to concern over agency delays in classifying recalls ("The Gray Sheet" July 27, 1992, In Brief).
