Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel Marshall Abbey resigns. Arthur Staubitz, vice president and general manager of Baxter's Venture Group, becomes secretary and acting general counsel until the firm finds a replacement. Abbey recently agreed to pay a fine to the Justice Department to settle civil charges related to Baxter's removal from the Arab League "blacklist" ("The Gray Sheet" March 29, I&W-5).
