Executive Summary
CardioFocus Inc. (atrial fibrillation transcatheter treatment) has raised $30.6mm through the closing of its Series D venture round. New backers Fletcher Spaght Ventures, Manatuck Hill Partners, and First Alliance & Capital Invest were joined by previous shareholders SV Life Sciences, HIG BioVentures, Accuitive Medical Ventures, the Aurora Funds, Oxford Bioscience Partners, Kestrel Venture Management, and KBL Healthcare Investors. The company will use the funds to continue marketing its endoscopic ablation system in Europe and begin a US IDE pivotal study.
