Executive Summary
TearScience Inc. (devices to monitor and treat dry eye) has raised $44.5mm through its Series C venture round. New backers Essex Woodlands Health Ventures, Investor Growth Capital, and General Catalyst will each contribute one board member and were joined by returning shareholders De Novo Ventures, Spray Ventures, and Quaker BioVentures.
