Executive Summary
Embrella Cardiovascular (developing a device that provides cerebral embolic protection during cardiovascular surgeries) has raised $5.1mm through its Series B round. First-time backer Bio-Star Ventures co-led the financing with current shareholder Medfocus Fund and were joined by new investor Edwards Lifesciences as well as 28 other new and returning private investors.
