Executive Summary
Cardiac Dimensions (cardiovascular device) has raised $35.5mm through the closing of its Series D venture round. Johnson & Johnson Development Corp. co-led the financing with Lumira Capital. New investors Mitsubishi UFJ Capital, West River Capital, and Montgomery & Co. were joined by current backers Frazier Healthcare Ventures, InterWest Partners, MPM Capital, and Polaris Venture Partners. The company will use the proceeds for US and European trials of its Carillon Mitral Contour System to percutaneously treat functional mitral regurgitation. Montgomery & Co. was the placement agent.
