Executive Summary
CardioMEMS (wireless medical devices used in the management of cardiovascular diseases) has raised $33mm through the closing of its Series E venture round. Arcapita Ventures led the financing and was joined by current backers Boston Millennia Partners, Medtronic, Easton Capital Partners, Foundation Medical Partners, Johnson & Johnson Development Corp., and Arboretum Ventures as well as new investors Deerfield Capital Management, Vision Capital Advisors, Aperture Venture Partners, and Rockport Venture Securities.
