Executive Summary
Advanced BioHealing (cell-based and tissue engineered products for wound healing) raised $25.5mm through its Series C round that was led by Safeguard Scientifics. Channel Medical Partners, Red Abbey Venture Partners, Canaan Partners, and Wheatley Partners also participated. ABH will put the funds towards the recent launch of its diabetic foot ulcer product Dermagraft, which the company bought from Smith & Nephew last year.
