Executive Summary
Just days after agreeing to be acquired by Beckman Coulter for $1.36bn ($85/share), Biosite has now received the unsolicited offer from Inverness Medical Innovations to buy the remaining 95.1% of the company that it doesn't already own for $90/share or about $1.44bn (a 15% premium) in cash.
