Executive Summary
EnteroMedics (devices for obesity and gastrointestinal disorders) raised $45.2mm in its third financing round led by new investor InterWest Partners. Other first-time backers Onset Ventures, Pacific Asset Partners, and the Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research (with whom the company has a 2005 obesity agreement) participated along with all returning shareholders MPM Capital, Bay City Capital, Aberdare Ventures, and Charter Life Sciences.
