Executive Summary
LuMend Corp. (catheter device that opens CTOs--chronic total occlusions--in coronary arteries) raised $23mm in its Series D financing. Lead investor CHL Medical Partners was joined by other new purchasers including Channel Medical Partners, the Richard K. Mellon Foundation, and the Entrepreneur's Growth Fund of RB Webber & Co., and by return participants Morgenthaler Ventures, DeNovo Ventures, ABS Ventures, and Palo Alto Investors.
