Health Spending Growth Sees 5.5 Percent Rise After Years Of Recession Lows

National health care spending grew 5.5 percent between 2013 and 2014 after years of more modest increases linked to the recession, CMS actuaries said. Also, DME growth dropped from 4.2 to 2.9 percent last year, but will rise by 5.1 percent by the end of 2015, according to the Medicare agency.
